​Cloudscapes is a collaborative project by visual artists Carolina Apolonia (mixed media) and Sebastiaan Hoekman (photography/film). The series merges screenprinted cloud photography with hand-stained, untreated canvas—infused with natural pigments, inks, and paints in earthy tones.

The process is slow and intuitive, embracing both control and unpredictability. Each artwork unfolds through patience, texture, and imperfection.

Hovering between abstraction and landscape, Cloudscapes offers a timeless visual language: minimal, tactile, emotionally resonant, where a fleeting image becomes grounded in the materiality of earth.
